Skin Care we Trust

Only the best ingredients used.

You can’t read a book by is cover. This goes for skin care products as well. The cosmetic industry is loosely regulated in the U.S. and trendy terms are being used to label products and cover up toxic ingredients. As a holistic-minded esthetician, I only promote and use products that have trusted and non-toxic ingredients. Below is an overview of the brands I carry at Organic Escape Skin Studio. I have a close relationship with the products and their producers. This ensure that I always have the safest and best ingredients to use on my client’s skin. These products are available on my online store and in my skin studio in Oceanside, CA.

Eminence Organics

Since 1958, Eminence Organic Skin Care has been using sustainable farming and green practices to create natural, organic and Biodynamic® products.

Healthy skin is a reflection of what you feed your body, inside and out. That’s why we source premium ingredients from organic farms worldwide to ensure our products are the purest and most potent.

Organic skin care is rooted in a holistic approach to farming and production. Unfortunately, modern agriculture robs the land of nutrients and often results in genetically modified ingredients. Choosing organic ingredients ensures that there are no harsh chemicals added. Our products do not contain harmful chemicals like added Parabens, Animal By-Products, Fragrances,  Petrolatum, Mineral Oils, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Harmful Colorants and other harsh cosmetic chemicals.

About the ingredients

We believe in providing the best skin care products possible.  Our products are handmade without any severe heating or hydrogenating processes that can affect the nutritional content and potency of natural ingredients. Vitamins are captured in their all-natural fresh base, offering dramatic results as actual seeds, pulps and peels impart regenerative and healing powers that only nature can produce. Learn more these organic practices in the video below!

Eminence Organics has been voted Favorite Skin Care Line by Spa Professionals 8 consecutive years in a row. This is only the beginning of the numerous awards earned by Eminence. Click here to view a comprehensive list of awards won

Taking Care of Our Planet-Forests for the Future

Every time you buy Eminence Organic Skin Care, we plant a tree for every retail product sold. Through our ongoing partnership with award-winning global tree planting organization Trees for the Future, we are planting trees in developing countries throughout the world including Burundi, Uganda, Ghana and Tanzania. In Africa, agroforestry provides families with the education and tools to create their own tree nurseries. The profits allow them to support their basic needs, while also benefitting the environment and fighting deforestation. Because we plant a tree every time you purchase one of our retail products, Eminence has planted 7 million trees so far! Bristol and Sussex

Bristol & Sussex began when Dr. Brandey Dollens wanted to help her husband treat his facial psoriasis.
It had spread to nearly half of his face and traditional medical treatments weren't working.  She decided to try a more natural approach and with the help of her husband, they developed a natural facial cleanser, facial moisturizer, and facial oil for him to use twice a day.His facial psoriasis was gone within a year, so in 2015 they decided to develop the products for consumer use. After 3 years of dedicated research, testing and development Bristol & Sussex was born!

At Bristol & Sussex, we employ a team of doctors and biochemists to ensure that the products we make actually work as we say.  That’s why when we formulate our clean, all-natural products we focus on two things:  Safety and Bioavailability.  We use clean, all-natural ingredients because they are both.

While synthetic chemical based formulae offer a multitude of promises their effectiveness has been called into question in recent years.  The oils we use are intended to help lock in moisture and help give your skin a soft, smooth texture.   The vitamins we add to our products are all plant derived and added to each batch to ensure than when you apply the product your body is able to use what’s available.  The additives chosen, and their usage level are all based on the research you will find below.

Bioavailability of Bristol & Sussex Products:
Bioavailability refers to the way the product is delivered to the correct cells or structures within the skin undamaged. There’s no point applying an ingredient if it will only travel to the epidermis (top layer) and not penetrate down into the deeper layers of the skin where the changes will become lasting.

Questions we now need to ask when purchasing skin care are less about what percentage of active ingredients are contained within the product or how many times a day can I apply this to get more value from this ingredient.

The focus is now on how does the active ingredient travel where it needs to in the skin, that is without it being destroyed or broken down and becoming ineffective. Take for example Vitamin C or L-ascorbic acid. A company could simply add this to their product and highlight its percentage on the label, however Vitamin C or L-ascorbic acid is quite unstable when in water based serums. Your $20 water based “daily essential” with such a high percentage of vitamin C you are using to correct a skin concern will now provide you with little to no improvements.  This is why all of our bases are made from raw aloe vera juice and oil.

Purpl & Prosper

Taiann Eiland, founder and owner of PurpL & Prosper, has been passionately working and gaining knowledge of the skincare industry since she became a licensed esthetician in 2007. Over time, she has become extremely well-versed in ingredients and has fallen head over heels with the Green Beauty Industry. The development of the line was driven by her own insecurities that were brought on by complicated skin ailments. For over 10 years, she suffered with severe cystic acne that led to a terrible skin-picking habit called "dermatillomania." This brought on shame, and a huge lack of self-love.  She would constantly switch up her regimen and purchase any gimmicky product that sounded convincing enough to try. However, she finally learned that for her skin, keeping it natural, intuitively eating and implementing daily self care was the best solution. Taiann truly believes in spreading the message of self-love and living a healthy, non-toxic lifestyle and how they determine the condition of your skin.

She began developing her own line of natural skincare products that dramatically changed the quality of her complexion. Every item in the line is tangible reminder to give yourself love and care everyday. This line is developed with natural ingredients that Taiann fully believes in, as you will too by using PurpL & Prosper products.
